You might say Kris Russell has become adept at multitasking. At least, she wears lots of hats. She is a 30-year veteran of Stage, Film, Radio, and the Record Industry. She holds a BA in Theater and Music, and a Master's in Education, but says she values most her professional training, (not to mention many years of "paying dues"). Kris Studied at HB Studios, NYC, and The Northern California Academy of the Dramatic Arts in Berkeley, CA, where she was coached by master teachers from The Royal Shakespeare Academy, London, The San Francisco Mime Troupe, The American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco, and The Julliard School, NYC, to mention a few.

Her resume sports such credentials as Off and Off-Off Broadway Leads, Author and composer of two Off Broadway Shows, Roles in TV and Film, Staff and Lead Announcer and staff writer positions for National Radio Syndications, (in Los Angeles) and DJ for World Wide Radio Satellites (based in Denver). As a voiceover & on camera artist her credits include commercials and industrials for: Sony, Epic, and Colombia Records, Subaru, Buster Brown Shoes, and Coca Cola.

As a Nashville Songwriter, Kris has had 37 songs recorded as album cuts and her voice, songs, and stories may be heard on her Americana CD, "Cimarron" & and her Audio Book, “The Oklahoma Outback, A Backroads Memoir”.

Kris's song; "The Least of These" has been playing in heavy rotation nationally for the past 15 Christmases. And her novella of the story (same title) showcased at Book Expo America and released by the Tattered Cover Bookstores this Christmas. From Trafford Publishing. As a vocalist, Kris was one of twenty-nine artists from around the world chosen to perform at the 1989 United Nations World Peace Conference. And her poem of world unity, "The Circle Ever Widens" has been published and placed in a collection of artists' works in the United Nations Library in New York City.

Currently, Kris lives in Denver, Colorado and coaches acting, voice, songwriting, and performance at The Academy of the Arts, and Production Director for the talent development company, "All That" Entertainment, where she has helped to launch the professional careers of many of her students. Nine of Kris's Students have landed professional artist management contracts, and seven have record deals in Los Angeles and Nashville. One of Kris's students, 11 year old Chris O'Neil, has the lead in the New Line Cinema Film, "The Last Mimzy" released in 2007. And 12 year old Jackson Odell just landed a 6 year contract with Universal Records & is in development w/ Universal Studios to star in his own show, and will have featured rolls this season on ABC's Private Practice, and NBC's Knight Rider.
